Recently, 60 tons of custom polybutadiene rubber produced by Maoming Petrochemical in Guangdong successfully arrived at a port in Cambodia via Zhanjiang, marking targeted supply to the Southeast Asian market.
In recent years, leading domestic automakers have accelerated their layout in Southeast Asia, driving a steady surge in local demand for automotive tires, alongside growing requirements for customized and standardized high-quality rubber raw materials. To precisely meet overseas clients’ demands, Maoming Petrochemical has deepened collaborative ties with China’s leading tire manufacturers. It joined hands with North China Chemical Sales Company and the Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry to form a technical research team, carrying out special R&D targeting clients’ key performance indicators.
After nearly two years of technical breakthroughs, the product passed the customer’s stringent certification and fully complies with supporting standards for their export products. This has opened up a stable supply channel serving Southeast Asia.
